2-K & 3-K Enrollment
Harlem Little Learners is a participating member of the United Network for Early Childhood Education Provider Network, which works in partnership with the New York City Department of Education (NYC DOE) to support families seeking high-quality early learning opportunities for their children.
As a participating provider, we focus on serving children in the important years leading up to kindergarten and work closely with our network to help families navigate the City’s 2-K and 3-K enrollment process.
Already Have a 2-K or 3-K Offer?
Families who have already received a DOE-funded 2-K or 3-K seat or offer should contact Latisha Watt, Network Director, United Network for Early Childhood Education Provider Network, at 212-844-0644 for assistance enrolling their child through the United Network at Harlem Little Learners. Transitioning from an ACS Child Care Voucher
Families currently using an ACS child care voucher may be eligible to transition from voucher-funded care to a DOE-funded 2-K or 3-K seat. The United Network can review the child’s eligibility and guide the family through the conversion and enrollment process.
Applying for 2-K or 3-K
Families who do not yet have an offer should complete an application through NYC MySchools, the City’s official application platform for 2-K, 3-K, and other public-school programs.
If Current Student appears as an option, families whose children are already enrolled at Harlem Little Learners should select it. A family may initially see a waitlist result; the United Network can verify eligible children as current students and make an offer when a seat is available. A waitlist placement itself is not an enrollment offer, so families should remain in contact with the network regarding next steps.

Tuition Options
Harlem Little Learners offers private-pay and DOE-funded 2-K or 3-K seat enrollment options.
Private Pay
Standard private-pay tuition is $410 per week for children under age 2 and $395 per week for children age 2 and older and covers the child’s contracted school-day schedule through 2:20 PM. Extended care is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 2:20 PM to 5:00 PM at a rate of $25 per day.
Extended care is not offered on Thursdays or Fridays. Private-pay tuition and applicable extended-care charges are billed in advance based on the child’s contracted schedule and must be paid before the applicable period of care begins. When all or part of a child’s care is covered by an approved subsidy or publicly funded program, the authorized portion of care is governed by that program, and the parent or guardian remains responsible for any required family share, copayment, privately contracted care, weekend care, or other services not covered by the authorization. A family may have both subsidized and private-pay care. A one-time $25 registration fee is due upon enrollment.

ACS voucher seat
Harlem Little Learners accepts ACS child care vouchers for eligible families. Your first step is to complete the Harlem Little Learners Application. If you are accepted and you already have an approved voucher, you may select Harlem Little Learners as your provider and complete the required ACS enrollment paperwork. Harlem Little Learners’ ACS Provider number is 727902.
Families who would like to transfer an existing voucher to Harlem Little Learners may request a child care transfer voucher through ACS.
